Kellie Pike

Chartered Physiotherapist

Kellie joined The Nerve Injury Clinic in 2022. She qualified as a physiotherapist from The University of East London in 1997. Initially, she worked in the NHS in London building up her skills in a variety of areas. She commenced specialising in neurological physiotherapy in 2003 working at Manchester Royal Infirmary and remained there for 12 years.

In 2014, Kellie left the NHS to work as a self-employed neurological physiotherapist based in the community and out-patient clinics. She is Bobath trained but uses a variety of treatment techniques and methods to suit each individual patient. Kellie is particularly interested in a holistic approach to patient care and how to guide patients to self-manage their own condition long term; as part of her holistic approach, she has extensive knowledge in fatigue management in neurological conditions.

Kellie is very experienced in treating all different types of peripheral nerve injuries and neurological conditions, although her specialist interest lies in treating patients following Stroke. She has taught other health care professionals about many aspects of stroke care and physiotherapy intervention.

When she isn’t working, Kellie loves live music, spending time with her family and walking her dog.
