General Neurological Conditions
Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple Sclerosis is a progressive neurological condition that affects movement, balance, and coordination. Physiotherapy helps manage symptoms such as muscle weakness, spasticity, and fatigue. Treatment plans include exercises to maintain mobility, strength, and endurance while also focusing on pain management and posture correction. We work with individuals at all stages of MS, from the early stages to later progression, to maximise their independence and quality of life.

See what people say about The Nerve Injury Clinic
Melinda Sallaway-Royle I was recommended to see Claire Downs in July 2022 by the Neurogist Prof. Mark Roberts after I had been suffering with Peripheral Neuropathy for a while. Due to the nature of nerve pain, treament is a slow progress but with time I have felt a dramatic improvement in my nerve pain around my left ankle. I believe this is down to Claire’s specialised knowledge and expertise of how to deal with nerve pain, as my ankle was found to be very sensitive to small changes of movement. I can highly recommend The Nerve Injury Clinic to anybody suffering with nerve pain. Paul Thank goodness I found the Nerve Injury Clinic. I have a long term Cervical Spine issue and post surgery things were still going downhill. It is so much more than a Physiotherapy practice. Claire has been able to manage my situation which has allowed me to continue to do some things. She is knowledgeable, professional and personable. It's worth a chat, if you feel they may help. Dan Smith This place has been a god send for me. I didn't believe I would recover to the extent I have without them. Claire the owner has been great at understanding my issues and helping with the stimulator to get my nerve feelings back. Kelly and Katie are very different in their rehab approach but both are very affective helping me regain strength balance and movement. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Rob Lyons I had nerve pain in my hand for months and saw Katy, it felt better after 2 sessions following her advice Steve Jones Had shoulder problem for 6 months and now better.Google rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 5 reviews
